Where do I start…… from the beginning. 33 years ago I started work in my auntie’s hairdressing salon helping her on school holidays.
I began to realise I had a natural talent for hairstyling.
Whilst still at school I signed up to start my apprenticeship with Edward Beale School of Hairdressing.
This was all put on hold when my family moved from Victoria to Queensland. It felt like my whole life was turned upside down.
I needed to find a new hairdressing school and employer so I stopped thinking about hairdressing. But after trying a few different career paths, I kept coming back to beauty.
I met my now husband in the ’90s and with his encouragement, a few night classes at beauty school, and many refresher courses,
Beauty by Corinne was born – Brisbane’s first-ever Mobile Hair & Makeup Wedding Service.
I owned and operated two hair & beauty salons, and offered a mobile bridal service.
This year will mark the year of my 3500th bride, a huge milestone.
Not many artists can say that!
I have since sold my two salons and now offer a mobile service and an in salon formals, trials and occasional hair and makeup. Studio is based in the quaint township of Dayboro, North West of Brisbane, a stunning location for a wedding,
with my husband and fur baby, my 2 bee hives and an abundance of wildlife.

I am and have been the lead stylist for the past 14 years on an annual stage production which is also aired on Channel 10.
I’ve worked on hundreds of fashion shows.
I’ve presented beauty tips on stage at Queens St Mall for years during fashion week.
I’ve worked with leading artists at International Fashion Week.
My work has been illustrated in numerous magazines.
I’ve worked with large shopping centres for their TV commercials.
I’ve worked with high class modelling agencies requiring hair and makeup for models for new releases of top end cars.
